Pre-commissioning, automated. The data QONG reads from your P&IDs becomes the rover’s mission in the plant: it drives the route, and it doesn’t just inspect the plant, it operates it too: it turns valves and presses push buttons, while your team approves from the app.
Before a new unit starts up, every item on its P&IDs has to be walked down and checked against the design. QONG Rover does those rounds for your team, and it doesn’t stop at looking: it operates the plant as well. It works from the same data QONG reads from your drawings, so the round covers every tag on the P&ID.
QONG ROVER MISSION
QONG ROVER
Drive · Inspect · Operate
An example round on Unit 22, a vessel and pump skid, from drawing QS-PID-22-001.
INPUT — P&ID Checklist
QONG reads the drawing and lists every item with its tag and design value
QONG ROVER — THE ROUND
Leaves its dock and stops at each item: it doesn’t just inspect it, it operates it
OUTPUT — Report

Approved by your team in the QSR app
It doesn’t just inspect the plant, it operates it: reading instruments, turning valves, pressing panel buttons and recording each result.
Reads Gauges
Pressure gauges read by the wrist camera and checked against the design value
Reads Level Glasses
Liquid level read off the gauge glass and recorded with a photo
Turns Handwheels
Three-finger gripper closes on the rim and turns manual valves
Presses Push Buttons
Centre pusher presses START and STOP on local control panels
Photo Evidence
Every reading and operation is saved with a snapshot in the report
Self-Docking
Reverses onto its charging dock between rounds
From your P&IDs. QONG reads every vessel, pump, valve and instrument off the drawing with its tag and design values. That list becomes the rover’s pre-commissioning checklist, and the rover plans one route that passes every item on it.
Its wrist camera reads pressure gauges and level glasses and checks them against the design values. Its end effector turns valve handwheels with three fingers on the rim and presses push buttons on local control panels with a centre pusher. A lift column raises the arm to items at height.
No. It does the walk-down rounds for them. Every reading and operation reaches the QSR app with a photo, and the pre-commissioning report is final only when your team approves it.
It starts each round from its charging dock and, when the round is done, drives back and reverses onto the dock’s contacts to charge for the next round.
